According to M. Gary Neuman and Matt Titus, men cheat because of an “emotional disconnect” at home, and also because of the infrequency of sex. Neuman’s advice is try to keep the relationship going like it’s the first date.
How realistic is that?

Recently someone suggested that even the very name of this site implies that women visiting this site are man-haters, and the site name is offensive because it’s sexist, etc. Which is ridiculous of course. Women cheat too. But this site is for women and hopefully will help to empower women, because men deal with their problems very differently, don’t they?
Just because a man has betrayed you by cheating, doesn’t mean you’re going to hate all men, does it? What it hopefully means is that next time you fall for a guy, you’ll be able to recognize the signs if he’s cheating, or you’ll be a little more selective in the type of man you choose to spend your life with, or you’ll decide to stay single for a while. The whole point is that you’ll come out of the bad experience a little wiser and a little smarter. And you’ll be able to move on.
